Professional Biography of Jane Liversedge

Jane Liversedge takes a vision and makes it a reality through creativity, improving self-esteem, and building social behaviors in students. She intuitively sees the threads of opportunity in every student, brings them together into a coherent whole through skilled and new teaching techniques and a mix of experience to mold attentive students and long life-learners.  She is an inspirational educator who tells stories that inspire action while at the same time grounded in personable and empathetic techniques and the ability to collaborate with other colleagues in teaching difficult children.  Respected as a credible voice in Teaching and learning, Developing multisensory lesson plans, and enhancing students’ love of learning and performance, Jane earns a seat at the table wherever she serves.

Jane earned her B.A. in English from the University of St Louis – Missouri, in 1994, In 2002, she obtained an  MSc in Reading from St Louis  University – Missouri. In her 7 years as an educator, jane has been privileged to work with students and teachers in a variety of settings.  She has worked as a classroom teacher, special and reading Teacher, Reading Specialist/Coach, and creativity Coordinator.  Currently, Jane teaches and learns with exceptional students and colleagues. Her in-depth experience in multimedia and educational software, including phonics, publisher and Encarta, spellbound, Reader Rabbit is top-notch.   Her goal is to create academically engaging learning experiences through an environment that fosters creativity, curiosity, and kindness.  Committed to sharing her passion for literacy and learning. Jane has  certifications in Elementary Education (k-6) ,Special Education (PreK-12),Reading certification (K-12).
